Welcome Week
Welcome to Illinois Tech! SHPE IIT had a successful Welcome Week, with tabling and outings with our E-board members. It was fun to meet a lot of new students who are starting as freshmen and to catch up with familiar faces after the long summer break.
SHPE Palooza
The September Series is a monthly professional development initiative featuring industry experts. Each week, we host a workshop focused on essential career skills. Past participants have gained valuable insights into resume building, networking, and more.
September Series
We had an amazing September Series with five different companies: Epsilon, UL Solutions, Zebra Technologies, ComEd, and Blachford. Thank you to all the representatives and students who took the time to attend! We believe this September Series equipped you with valuable professional knowledge and attitudes.
Water Lantern Festival Event
We had an exciting time participating in the Water Lantern Festival! Thank you to all the volunteers who worked until the last minute. We built fellowship and enjoyed the moment together!
SHPE Networking Event
The SHPE members from Illinois Tech, UIC, and Northwestern University came together, and it was truly an honor to meet new friends from different campuses. We believe that SHPE will grow together as one.
SHPE National Convention Readiness Retreat @ Google
The SHPE E-board members had an incredible experience at the event hosted by SHPE Region 6 at the Google Office in Chicago. We received valuable professional feedback and advice and had the opportunity to hear firsthand from past convention attendees about how to maximize their experience at Nationals.
